Almond Butter Energy Bites | Tulsa Moms Network

How about a quick, healthy snack that’s also toddler approved? Yes, that combination exits! Introducing, these amazing Almond Butter Energy Bites. These are the perfect snack, you can’t make them wrong…throw in what you have and get creative if you need to!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (dairy free if you’re vegan)
1 cup old fashion oats
1/2 cup flax meal (you can omit this if you don’t have any)
1 tablespoon chia seeds
2/3 cup almond butter
2 tablespoons pure maple syrup (although I’ve used honey when I am out of maple syrup)

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, stir together all ingredients until well combined
2. Roll into 12 balls (we make them about 1-1.5″ in diameter…you can’t do this wrong!)
3. Store in Tupperware in the fridge!
4. Enjoy whenever you’d like!
